At House of Caradog, we are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all guests, visitors, and staff.

This policy sets out our commitment to accessibility and inclusion in all areas of our operation, including guest services, facilities, digital accessibility, employment, and staff training. It supports our goal of ensuring that every person who visits or works at House of Caradog can do so comfortably, safely, and with dignity.

- All areas of the hotel, including guest rooms, reception, restaurants, bars, meeting spaces, leisure facilities, and outdoor areas.
- All employees, contractors, suppliers, and service providers.

a. Equal Access
We will make every reasonable effort to ensure our premises, services, and information are accessible to everyone. This includes:

- Ensuring access to key areas such as the reception, restaurant, and main public toilets.
- Reserved parking as close as possible to the building entrances.
- Maintaining accessible pathways, doorways, and lifts that meet UK accessibility standards (BS 8300-2:2018).
- Offering auxiliary aids such as visual alert systems, or hearing loops where required.
- Welcoming guide dogs and assistance dogs throughout the premises.
b. Accessible Information and Communication
We are committed to ensuring that all guests can access information in a suitable format. We will:
- Provide clear, easy-to-read signage throughout the hotel.
- Offer alternative formats for key information (e.g., large print, digital documents).
- Ensure our website and online booking systems are accessible, following Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1).
- Train staff to communicate effectively with guests who have specific access or communication needs.
c. Staff Awareness and Training
All staff receive training on disability awareness, inclusive communication, and how to assist guests with access requirements respectfully and effectively.
We encourage staff to be proactive, sensitive, and flexible in meeting guests’ individual needs.
